# How can I connect to my kubernetes api using KHKS?

1. Log in to your KeepSec Dashboard.

2. Navigate to `Products > Kubernetes > KHKS`.

3. Locate the cluster you wish to connect to.

4. Click on the three-dot menu on the right side of the Kubernetes cluster box.

5. Select "Download Config" from the dropdown options to download the kubeconfig file for your cluster.

6. Use the kubeconfig file to connect to your cluster:
   - Run the following command in your local environment:

```
kubectl --kubeconfig=</path/to/downloaded/kubeconfig> get nodes
```
   - Replace `</path/to/downloaded/kubeconfig>` with the actual path to the downloaded kubeconfig file.

7. Ensure that `kubectl` is installed on your machine. You can refer to the official kubectl installation guide if needed.
